How to download iOS 11 beta version

soon after Apple's WWDC 2017 event in June 2017, there was an uproar about the upcoming iOS 11which boasts of incredible features for iPhones and iPads.

The new iOS 11 is supposedly the "greatest and the most important" announcement Apple has ever made in any of their WWDC events. Apart from some cool features coming to the iPad, the iOS 11 will be a step towards augmented reality and more. Before iOS 11 sees a complete roll out, one can try out the beta version of the software. To try out the beta version, all one needs to do is follow the steps mentioned below:

1) Make an archived backup of your iPhone or iPad:
It's an obvious but handy tip -- it is always better to create a backup of your device. Archiving your data will prevent your current files to be overwritten by the new iOS 11 backup. In future as well, you will be able to return to older version anytime you want.

2) Register for the beta version:
Before getting down to downloading the beta version, it is mandatory to have a developer's account with Apple. Without the paid version, you won't be able to download any non-Xcode betas. All you have to do is follow these simple steps:

Go to developer.apple.com on your iPhone or iPad.

Click on the "Download New Betas" tab.

Log in with your developer account's username and password.
Go to the iOS 11 beta section and tap download.

Tap Install. You may need to enter your Passcode.

Agree to the Consent form and press Install once in the upper right corner, and once at the bottom of the screen.

Press Restart to apply the changes to your iPhone

3) How to install:
Visit the software update on your iPhone, iPad in Settings. Once the update appears, click download and install, enter your password if required. And finally tap on 'agree terms and conditions' and also tap on 'confirm'.

4) How to get started:
Once the update has been downloaded and installed, your device will reboot and it'll start as a fresh new device. You will have to set it up with all your account details.

Well, that's about it. Follow these simple steps and you will be ready to experience the new version before anyone else does. Once the beta version 1 updates itself, it'll convert all your files into APFS format which means you won't be able to downgrade even if you want to.
