What to do when your Netflix account gets hacked

Chances of your account being at risk increase if you share it with multiple people. If your account ever gets hacked, keep in mind the following things in order to safeguard your details:

1) Remove unauthorized users:
The first thing you need to do when your account gets hacked is get rid of all the unauthorised users. To do that, you'll have to:


     -Change your password

- End Current session

- Change your email address

2) Be sure whether your account has been hacked:You have to be completely sure whether your account has been hacked or not. The simplest way to verify this is to check your recent activity. To check that just go to > My Account page, find the Viewing Activity link under My Profile section, and if someone has been using it, you'll get to know.



3) Check your other accounts:To ensure that the hacker hasn't crept into other accounts, check your email account, Facebook, Instagram and make sure you don't use the same ID and password for all the accounts. And to be on the safe side make sure you run an anti-virus to detect if your device has been infected by any malware or not.

4) Sign out from all the devices:

If there hasn't been any unauthorised infiltration, quickly sign out of all the other devices checked into the same account.
