How to clean your DSLR camera's lens

over
the past 3 years, the number of DSLR camera owners have skyrocketed. Many people have jumped on the wagon of 'professional photography' to showcase their creative side on social media. It does not necessarily mean that the best cameras with high-end specifications give the best shots and will stand the test of time and endurance. As a DSLR-owner, it is equally important for a user to service and maintain the camera. Especially the lens.
A clean lens is mandatory for a good photograph. Here are a few tips on how to keep your camera lens clean.

  • Invest in a cleaning kit: It usually consists of a microfibre cloth, a blower brush, and some lens cleaning fluid.
  • Do not overlook your casing: Regularly clean the casing, as this will pick up grime, grease, and dust quickly and can hamper the lens of your camera .
  • Be careful of the cloth you use for cleaning: Avoid using a dampened cloth with water to clean your lens. A dry microfibre cloth should remove all the dirt and dust just fine.
  • Buy a lens filter: The filter will protect the front element of your lens.
